Each team (geocaching username) will be given two caches to hide

The playing field is the entire map area (the playing field boundary is a rectangle this year). Half the caches will be hidden on the north side of the highway, half on the south side.

Bonus points for 2024:

• Walking points: 1 point per 100m from the road (to a max of 4 points)
• Bonus zones: 1 point for hiding in the 5-10km area, 2 points for the over 10km area. (see map)
• 1 point per creative cache hide, but only if you send us a photo of your cache in place on Saturday!
• Attend and participate in the flash mob event (GCAK1D6) for an extra 5 points
• And new this year, there will be points for spacing your own team's caches further apart from each other. (further details will be provided on Saturday morning)
